This is a Neighbor to Neighbor Tour
Join OSU Extension and OSWA (Oregon Small Woodlands Association) for a tour of the Stimson sawmill and Matteson Demonstration Forest (OSU Research Forest) near Hagg Lake in Gaston.
The day will include:
- Tour of Stimson Mill (PPE Provided, bring closed-toe shoes)
- Catered Lunch and Learn with Hagg Lake Park staff
- Matteson Demonstration Forest visit with guest speakers on timber harvesting, forest management and invasive plants
- Shuttle to and from Forest Grove
Enjoy a charter bus shuttle and complimentary lunch.
Be prepared for outdoor weather and walking.
