Interested in joining a 4-H club? 4-H is a family program, which includes guardians, grandparents, aunts/uncles, and friends. 4-H clubs are organized by a volunteer leader and meet at a minimum, monthly for 7 months a year. Projects (interests) are youth driven. If you are eager to start a year long commitment, fill out our interest form at the button below. After filling it out, a 4-H Staff member or 4-H leader will email or call within a month. We encourage families new to 4-H to call the Extension office so we may better serve you.

Choosing a 4-H Club

Jackson County 4-H offers over 60 clubs and dozens of projects (interests)! Things to consider when choosing a club include: Location, Projects offered, day and time of meetings. Once you find a club you like, contact the club leader to let them know you're interested. They can tell you more and help you decide if it's the right club for your family.

Use our online 4-H Club Directory or give us a call at 541-776-7371 and we would be happy to help.

Become a Volunteer

If you're 19 or older (and have finished high school), you can stay involved by becoming a volunteer! Volunteers can do a wide variety of work with 4-H! They lead and help clubs, they help run our fairs and contests, they coordinate funding and member support opportunities, and they teach a variety of skills and educational workshops. We have college age volunteers who come home for the summer to volunteer at Fair! And, if you are age 25 or older, you can start a new club. More information can be found on the Volunteers tab.

If you're too busy to volunteer but still want to help the program, we will happily take a donation of funds or supplies.

Whatever your age or skill level, there's a way for you to Get Involved!
