Fair is fast approaching! Please review the following information to help you prepare for the week.
Market Steer: In order to sell your steer at fair, you must complete all mandatory documentation, including new documents recently requested by Tyson. Please watch the following video, fill out the forms, and return all completed paperwork to the Sale Committee at fair weigh-in. Have a question regarding this information or paperwork? Small Animal Barn: The Small Animal Superintendents have decided that for the safety of the rabbits and poultry there will be no decorations in the small animal cages, they can be displayed on the walls in the small animal barn this year. Stall cards will be the only item allowed on animal cages.
Static Exhibits: The Red Barn Superintendent will be ready to take all 4-H Static Exhibits on Friday July, 31st from 4 - 7 pm in the Red Barn at the Fairgrounds. Please make sure to follow all guidelines for static fair entries and fill out all paperwork in advance! Participants should have these items ready to hand in when they arrive:
- 4-H Exhibit tags. One for each project
- Explanation cards for each project. These can be found under each individual project on the State website
During Exhibition Days: We will hold daily 4-H livestock meetings Wednesday - Saturday at 8 am at the Beef Arena for all livestock participants. During these meetings we will announce the previous day's herdsmanship winners and make daily announcements.
Stall Assignments: Stall requests need to be turned in with your entry form.
Record Books: We will be handing out record books after the daily 4-H livestock meetings from 8:15 am - 9:00 am.
