Hands on Learning

The Hood River County 4-H Program is open to all youth in grades K-12:

  • Youth in grades 4-12 may join 4-H project of community clubs which are led by volunteer leaders, or may join as independent members.
  • Youth in grades K-3 may participate in the 4-H Cloverbud program. This non-competitive, group-oriented program allows youth to explore many topics such as natural resources, the community, foods, science, art and more.
  • Hood River County 4-H also offers a variety of after school programs, day camps and over night camping.


Meet Liana Harden Hood River County's New 4H Agent

Liana currently works for OSU and is finishing up a grant project in St. Helens. She will be attending some Hood River events and meetings between April and June. She will join our county program full time starting July 1st.
