Biography
Barrett Ebright Karnes is a Program Coordinator for Oregon State University, College of Health, Extension Service Family and Community Health unit. In this role she supports the work of Family and Community Health to promote healthy communities, families and individuals.
Barrett has worked for the College of Health since 2024. Prior to this, she worked for thirteen years in the affordable housing sector, delivering healthy housing services and managing housing programs. Barrett earned her graduate degree in Public Health with a concentration in Public Health Practice at OSU in 2024. She earned a Professional Certificate in Nonprofit Program Evaluation at Portland State University and earned her BA in Sociology at Willamette University with a focus on rural community development.
