Master Gardeners are

• Reachable: Call us, email us, or visit us at farmers' markets and outreach events in the community.

Master Gardeners have a love of gardening and a passion to share that knowledge with others. A master gardener has extensive training and knowledge about growing and caring for plants. The master gardener program educates Oregonians about the art and science of growing and caring for plants. This program also facilitates the training of a highly educated group of volunteers. These volunteers extend sustainable gardening information to their communities through education and outreach programs. Classes are held at the beginning of every year.
