Umatilla County Fair
The County Fair is a major activity for 4-H members that allows them to exhibit what they’ve learned in their project areas during the 4-H year. The Umatilla County Fair happens the second full week in August each year. To participate in 4-H fair activities, youth must enroll in 4-H by January 31st and complete their Fair Entry Registration by July 15th.

Umatilla County 4-H Pre-Fair Contests
The Umatilla County 4-H Pre-Fair event takes place the third week of July at EOTEC, Hermiston. This event includes all live communications and Family and Consumer Science contests. Other contests that take place in July before the county fair are the Dog Show, Horse Show, and Shooting Sports Contests. The Pre-Fair Contest Guide includes guidelines and class information for all these events.
Umatilla County Fair
The Umatilla County Fair takes place the second week of August in Hermiston, Oregon, at the Eastern Oregon Trade and Event Center (EOTEC). The 2025 Umatilla County Fair will be August 3-9, open to the public August 6-9.
