What is 4-H in Gilliam County?

In Gilliam County, 4-H offers learning-by-doing in over 25 project areas, including family and consumer science, biological sciences, and technology and engineering. Cloverbuds introduces our youngest members (ages 5–8) to the fun of 4-H, while older youth can dive deeper through community clubs, workshops, and teen leadership opportunities. Programs are shaped by local interests and grow with the youth who lead them.

Join a club, attend a camp, or take part in other fun activities and events. Clubs and other activities are built around the interests of youth. Volunteer with 4-H

Volunteers are key to the success of the 4-H program. Together OSU Extension 4-H and volunteers create life-changing experiences for youth in your community! Young people learn life skills, connect with adults in meaningful ways, make new friends and help their community thrive.

You will gain new skills in working with others and satisfaction from helping children and watching them grow and develop. Volunteering also provides opportunities for personal learning and growth.
