4-H in Hood River County is more than just a club — it’s a place where youth discover their interests, gain confidence, and build lifelong skills through hands-on learning. Kids ages 5 to 19 can join community clubs, attend camps, explore leadership opportunities, and work on projects that matter to them. Kids work on projects all year and then showcase them at the county fair in late July. From coding and sewing to caring for animals, we've got it! And you can come learn about what we do by stopping by the fairgrounds or reaching out to us any time of the year.
We also welcome adult volunteers to help guide and inspire the next generation — whether you can lead a project, teach a workshop, or simply lend a hand at events. No experience required, just a willingness to share your time or talents.
