In this workshop we will cover "Summer" pruning young trees to help control vigor, reduce winter labor and minimize disease risk and the cleaning up of productive mature trees and reinvigorating old trees. We will use this diverse orchard for hands-on demonstrations with apples, pears, plums, and cherries.
You are invited to join an optional potluck and social time with other participants on the farm after the workshop. Please bring a dish to share and a plate/utensils if you can.
