We would love to have you join Curry County 4-H!
Youth ages 5 to 8 are invited to join 4-H Cloverbud Program. Cloverbuds is designed to provide an opportunity for youth ages 5-8 (as of September 1) to participate in a developmentally appropriate learning experience separate and distinct from the regular 4-H club experience. Youth learn social skills, acquire life skills and have fun! It supports young children’s natural curiosity, enthusiasm for learning and high energy levels by giving them an opportunity for active learning. Cloverbuds encourages children to have fun, develop friendships and learn about their world all while promoting social, mental, emotional and physical development.
Youth ages 9 to 19 are welcome to join and learn with 4-H. 4‑H clubs follow planned, self-directed programs in a number of project areas, including animal science, STEM, communication, cooking, art, gardening, and environmental science. Clubs may meet in a variety of locations and typically meet in the evenings and on the weekends.
The 4-H year runs from October 1 to September 30. Enrollment opens on October 1.
The enrollment fee is $41 for the year and includes unlimited projects and insurance. Shooting sports projects have an additional $10 fee if members want to participate in the state-wide mail-in tournaments. Discounts are available for families with three or more youths enrolling. We also offer scholarships for the enrollment fee. Prices increase by $5 after January 31, 2026.
Deadlines for participating in the County Fair, Market Projects, and some State events apply. Please enroll as soon as possible to ensure members may participate in these events.
