Welcome to Marion County 4-H
There are lots of fun things you can learn in 4-H! You can learn about animals, computers, public speaking, cooking, art, gardening and environmental sciences, and more. You can get involved by joining a club, attending a camp, or participating in other fun activities and events.
Over 200 volunteers and 5000 youth experience 4-H programming in Marion County each year.
Oregon 4-H Club programs uses the following age divisions for eligibility in competitive events of ages as of September 1, of the current program year.
Cloverbuds: 5-8 years old
Juniors: 9-11 years old
Intermediates: 12-14 years old
Seniors: 15-18 years old and graduated
Volunteer with 4-H
4-H connects young people and adults to communities. You can make a positive impact with 4-H no matter what stage of life you are in.

Junior Master Gardener Summer Day-Camp
JMG Level 1: Open to 12 registrants ages 8-12
JMG Level 2: OPen to 12 registrants (returning JMG youth)
JMG Level Advanced: Open to 6 registrants (returning JMG youth who have previously graduated with JMG certificates. Focused on service-learning, teen teaching, and arts in the garden)
Cost: $35 per youth
Ages: 8-12 years old
Meets every Monday, July 15 – August 19 (6-weeks)
Time: 9:30am – 12:30pm
Location: Meets in Salem, Oregon
Camp Details:
When: September 37-29, 2024
Where: Mt. Hood Kawanis Camp, Rhododendron, OR
Who: Ages 11-19
Cost: 200.00 per individual
