Are you interested in learning how to enhance native bee health and biodiversity through habitat creation and stewardship?

The Bee Steward Program is a great place to start. The Oregon Bee Project Strategic Plan includes the goal to enhance bee habitat across the state. To fulfill this goal, Oregon State University Extension has created the Bee Steward Program.

This program is intended to be an introductory self-paced course of study that includes instruction on the biology and life history of pollinators and training on how to build, maintain, and establish pollinator habitat. The course includes online modules and quizzes, opportunities for community outreach, and practical tools to help you promote bee health and biodiversity.

Please note: While we are happy to welcome students from any location, our course materials have a Pacific Northwest focus. Student packets and certificates can only be mailed to addresses within the United States and Canada.

There is no waiting list for the Bee Steward Program - you may enroll at any time.
