The Bee Stewards program is an introductory course on bee biology and habitat enhancement. It includes:

- 215-page student resource manual (mailed to you!)

Bee Stewards will teach you about the diversity of bees and how to meet their various needs through careful landscape design and plant selection. Course topics include bee life histories, basic bee identification, how to perform a habitat assessment, and designing, preparing, and maintaining bee habitat.
Stewardship Report
Bee Stewards that complete their plant inventory project will receive a personalized Stewardship Report, documenting bee species we think are likely at your site, and a tailored list of plant recommendations. This report is based on the latest research from Oregon State University, the Oregon Bee Atlas, and other regional Bee Atlas programs, and is designed to help you select the best plants to support a diverse community of bees in your habitat!
This training can be completed within one year.
