Horse project

Clackamas County 4-H has a large and thriving Horse club program with nearly 200 members.

Helmets: Our county requires that youth wear a helmet at all times when riding, driving, and working on the ground with or around horses. Adults also must wear a helmet if they are riding at a 4-H educational event (ex: club trail ride).

Back to Basics and Trail Clinic Information Sheet (in English): Print and share this information with your club. Registration ends February 8!
Haney Scholarship (in English): This award is open to members of the Clackamas County 4-H Horse program that are graduating high school this year and are planning to attend any accredited two or four year program. The application process is simple and is DUE JUNE 3.
I Did It Myself Application (in English): Online Form due each year by April 1
I Did It Myself Award Criteria (in English): Due April 1 each year. An award for 4-Hers who have raised and trained their own horse.
Triple Crown Award (in English): The 4-H Horse project is about more than just riding. Learn how you can earn recognition for record keeping and knowledge contests.
