2026 Washington County Fair

We are getting ready for the 2026 Washington County Fair. We hope that you will join us for Opening Day on Friday, July 24, 2026 or any time through Sunday August 2, 2026. Our 4-H Animals arrive on Wednesday, July 29th and will remain at the fairground through the end of the fair.

The 2026 Washington County 4-H Fair Book is now being updated by Fair Superintendents and 4-H Staff. Check back again in early April for the fair book! All enrolled 4-H Members and Club Leaders will receive an email once the 2026 Fair Book has been published.

The 2026 Fair Entry Deadline is May 15, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.

TerminWhen you want to talk about dairy cattle with someone, you need accurate, meaningful vocabulary words (terminology or terms) in order to understand each other. When you give a set of reasons, an accurate set of terms is just as important as it is in conversation. Also, to compare one cow with another, you need to use phrases and expressions that the listener can clearly understand. So, it is important to develop a good vocabulary of dairy cattle terms.
