Natural Science

4-H Natural Science Projects help youth become better acquainted with the outdoors by providing opportunities to see and learn about the physical and biological environment. Youth can explore bugs, critters, plants and rocks; that’s just the beginning. The Junior Master Naturalist program is a good place to start, providing a sample of many activities across the project areas.

Open to all 4-H members regardless of project enrollment. The exhibit may be a poster or a three-dimensional display. Individual three-dimensional exhibits are limited in size to 48” wide (measured when lying flat), 24” deep (front to back), and 36” high. Club exhibits are limited in size to 60” wide, 24” deep and 36” high. Posters are limited in size to 30” by 24”.

DIVE4Ag (in English)

DIVE4Ag project provides immersive experiences for middle and high school Pacific Northwest youth and educators to explore agriculture with a 'farm to table' approach, including virtual reality and online activities. Young people can join the project as content co-creators by becoming a Teens as Teacher or tune into free, on demand monthly Ag Science Cafe interviews.
