To qualify for one or more scholarships, you must consider, for example:
- Having good grades (a 3.0 GPA or better)
- Showing community service during your middle and high school years
- Having a good story to tell about yourself, your struggles, your successes, your goals and your dreams.
Questions you should ask yourself are:
- Why do I deserve a scholarship?
- What have I done for others to deserve a scholarship?
- Why do I need money?
Check out these great scholarships and resources below to set yourself up for success. The opportunities are not for everyone — they are reserved for people who take action to explore them, and for people who invest time and energy to do what is necessary to embrace them.
