Biography
Belisario Nigenda Pérez is the Program Manager for the Youth Innovators Empowering Agriculture Across America – Coordination Network (YEA-CN). He oversees the YEA-CN grant and supports YEA projects that are reimagining and strengthening youth development outreach programs to prepare young people for careers in agriculture and food sciences across the United States.
With over 15 years of experience in higher education, Mr. Nigenda has led the management and implementation of grants focused on student development and career readiness in Puerto Rico, New Jersey, and Oregon. He has collaborated closely with educational leadership and external partners to design and deliver impactful programs for college students.
In his role as Program Manager for YEA-CN, Belisario is committed to building strong pipelines between education and agriculture-focused career pathways.
