Biography
Clint Taylor is a Faculty Research Assistant at the North Willamette Research and Extension Center (NWREC) in Aurora, Oregon, where he works with the Nursery & Greenhouse Management program. His research centers on hoop house and gravel yard production systems, irrigation strategies, and the evaluation of drought-tolerant landscape plants and shade trees. He is particularly focused on improving water use efficiency in nursery and landscape settings.
Clint also conducts data-driven analyses using environmental sensor networks, applying tools like MATLAB to explore soil moisture dynamics, plant water relations, and photosynthetic responses in container-grown and field plants.
Outside of his professional work, Clint enjoys gardening, woodworking, and fishing. These pursuits reflect his deep connection to plants, craftsmanship, and the natural world.
