Erika joined OSU Extension in 2018 as the Master Gardener Program coordinator.  Her interests include waterwise gardening, native plants, pollinator health, urban forestry, and gardening to support local ecosystems.  She holds a Master's degree in Agriculture from Colorado State University with extensive coursework in watershed science, and a B.S. in Biology from West Chester University, PA.  Erika served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Paraguay with Agriculture Extension (2014-2016), has worked for the US Forest Service on urban forest health and post-fire conifer regeneration studies, and has experience with leading habitat restoration and tree planting projects, in addition to having worked as a professional gardener.
