Biography
Kirby was a recent addition to the staff here at OSU Klamath County Extension, joining in November 2024. She was fitting in well as she is always ready for a new challenge and is enjoying working with all of the friendly and welcoming staff at Extension.
Living in Klamath Falls was still somewhat new to Kirby as she is originally from Prineville transplanted to Kansas and then to Florida before making her way back to Oregon. Though she misses the convenience of living in a big city like Orlando, the theme park capital, she enjoys the slower pace of life that Klamath County allows. Living on a small hay ranch just outside of Keno with her husband Stephen and 62 animals ranging from dogs to goats and everything in-between.
At Extension Kirby was working on breathing life back into the marketing of Extension. She is enjoying getting to know all the great programs offered and can't wait to promote them in as many ways as possible. Look for her taking pictures and wandering around at events throughout the county.
