Biography
Over the past six years, Crystal has worked as a creative science communicator, innovative project manager, and passionate storyteller focused on meaningful community engagement and impactful communications.
She began her career studying Midwestern streams, rivers, and lakes as an undergraduate at Ball State University. Through her education, she identified a key area for advancement in the field: science communication.
This realization led her to pursue a master’s degree in environmental education at Southern Oregon University, where she gained insights into how people learn and communicate. Since then, Crystal has continued to center her career on science communication through community engagement, filmmaking, and project management within the nonprofit and academic sectors.
