Biography
My research interest in insect ecology focuses on insect-microbial interactions with plants, insect molecular ecology, and the role that the environment plays on these interactions. My ultimate goal is to focus on parts of this multi-trophic interaction that could be exploited for developing sustainable pest management programs that reduce economic and environmental costs. Extension activities are designed to provide research-based information to support growers, stakeholder groups, local industry, and county extension agents.
