Community Conversations about Behavioral Health Toolkit

The toolkit’s facilitator guide was adapted from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) Community Conversations about Mental Health, an evidence-based tool focused on youth mental health. Our toolkit focuses on engaging community leaders to address a broader spectrum of mental health and substance use challenges in their communities.

Radio Promotion Toolkit

Developed in partnership with Northwest Rural Opioid Technical Assistance Collaborative, the radio promotion toolkit contains resources for how to engage with local radio stations and develop content effectively. The toolkit covers best practices for connecting with local radio stations and a breakdown of different options for radio outreach. It includes sample interview guides, public service announcement (PSA) scripts, and phone and email templates for connecting with radio partners.

Caring Communities: Guidance for Supporting Survivors of Suicide Loss

Caring Communities: Guidance for Supporting Survivors of Suicide Loss is a one-hour presentation, available in-person or virtually. It is designed to provide participants with information, resources and practical guidance on how to support someone who has experienced a recent loss to suicide. The program is suitable for workplaces and community groups who want to learn how to build more supportive environments for survivors of suicide loss.
