Friday in the Apiary

'Friday in the Apiary' is an opportunity to gather, visit, and learn more about beekeeping at OSU's apiary at the Oak Creek Center for Urban Horticulture. Every third Friday of each month (usually, please check schedule), you are invited to come and discuss hive management strategies for the month and get to know other beekeepers in the Oregon Master Beekeeper program.

This event is open to the public and is a casual, loosely structured gathering intended to provide a learning experience in a relaxed setting. Apprentices from any year, Journeys, and Mentors are also welcome.

Weather permitting, this is an opportunity for OMB Apprentices to get items signed off on their Field Experience Worksheets.

RSVPs are mandatory. Sign up below to receive notifications and RSVP forms.
