To re-certify as an OSU Master Gardener™ Volunteer, you must agree to complete 30 hours of public service; up to one-half in the OSU Extension Service office assisting the new class members, answering home horticulture questions for the public, and the remainder working on approved Master Gardener™ projects during the next year. There is no fee to re-certify.

The Master Gardener Code of Conduct describes the expectations of Extension Master Gardener trainees and volunteers. It must be signed and filed, before an individual can begin volunteering with the OSU Extension Master Gardener Program.
