Welcome to Deschutes County 4-H!
We have an experienced team and youth Development is what we do. We utilize traditional club-based programming engaging volunteers and members in a variety of project areas AND after school and school enrichment opportunities. We provide opportunities for project specific education, leadership development, communication and public speaking, sportsmanship, and team building all to enhance life skill building to bolster future adult success. From kindergarten through high school, we have opportunities for you. If your child has an interest, we can create a project club around that interest, in fact there might already be a project club of interest. Current clubs include: many animal species, crafts and art, foods, textiles, and more! However, if you have an interest, a few youth who will join you, we’ll help find a volunteer leader, a 4-H Club is created. The project is of interest to a member and adult volunteer, fun and educational, AND the focus is youth development; we are always in need of volunteers too! So if you want to volunteer as a club leader, office helper, organizer of an event, etc. to use a common quote, “We Want YOU!”
