Clatsop County Master Gardener Association

The Clatsop County Master Gardener Association (CCMGA) is part of the Oregon Master Gardener Association, a state-wide non-profit organization. Anyone who has completed the Master Gardener training program and who wishes to join is encouraged to participate.

Current community projects include:

The CCMGA Demonstration Garden at the Clatsop County Fairgrounds - demonstrating landscape plants that thrive in our coastal climate.

Alderbrook Learning Garden located at Alderbrook Park on 45th St. in Astoria - a teaching garden for organic vegetables and fruit, pollinators, and composting, while donating all fresh produce to local food pantries.

Seed to Supper classes, in collaboration with the Oregon Food Bank - teach basic gardening skills and how to grow your own food to Clatsop County residents who have challenges with their food budget. Classes are 2 hours long, once a week for five weeks.
