The Douglas County Master Gardener Program
The Master Gardener Program in Douglas County is operated out of our office in Roseburg and the OSU Agricultural Learning Center at River Forks Park. The Douglas County MG Program offers our community education, immersive learning experiences, and one-on-one help for the home gardener. The MG Program oversees the training and coordination of volunteers, hosts educational programming, and furthers the mission of the statewide MG Program.
The Douglas County Master Gardener Association
The Douglas County Master Gardener Association (DCMGA) is the official group of trained MG volunteers in Douglas County. The DCMGA operates several programs in collaboration with the Douglas County MG Program, as well as their own independent fundraising activities.
Founded in 1984, the DCMGA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that works in collaboration with and in support of the OSU Extension Service.
