Who can join 4-H in Grant County?

All youth ages 5 to 19 are welcome to join and learn with 4-H. 4‑H clubs follow planned, self-directed programs in a number of project areas, including animal science, shooting sports, leadership, cooking, art, and photography. Clubs may meet in a variety of locations and typically meet in the evenings and on the weekends.

4-H age groups are determined by the youth’s age on September 1st of the current school year. Ages 5–8 are cloverbuds, 9–11 are juniors, 12–14 are intermediates, and 15–19 are seniors.

Please Note: There may be some project areas for which there are no clubs available. If a project you hoped for isn't available, consider becoming a volunteer leader! We will provide training and resources to support you.

4-H programs across Oregon are managed by local 4-H faculty in Extension offices who tailor programming to community needs. They're here to help you find your Spark!

Before enrolling for the first time, contact your local Grant County 4-H Office to make sure there's a club or project that suits your family's schedule. Due to volunteer availability, not all projects are available in every location (psst... you can help us fix that by volunteering!).
