This guide is for current OSU Extension Master Gardener volunteers. It explains Oregon State University policies and OSU Master Gardener program guidelines related to volunteering. Your county program coordinator will have more information on how these guidelines are used in your county program.
The Master Gardener Volunteer Code of Conduct describes the expectations of Extension Master Gardener trainees and volunteers. It must be signed and filed, before an individual can begin volunteering with the OSU Extension Master Gardener Program.
Most Master Gardener volunteers use the VRS system for reporting their volunteer hours. For volunteers in the Portland Metro region, please contact your local MG coordinator for reporting your hours.
