MLK Day of Service (Community Service Planning Resources): The MLK Day of Service is observed as a “day on, not a day off.” MLK Day of Service is intended to empower individuals, strengthen communities, bridge barriers, create solutions to social problems, and move us closer to Dr. King’s vision of a “Beloved Community.” This website provides valuable resources to help plan service projects that not only benefit the community, but empower youth and help bridge dividess. Plan a service project on MLK day and register it on the site to join millions of other youth around the county! Then carry on that energy throughout the year with more projects.
Online Club Directory: Our new online club directory helps new users find the perfect club! We recommend looking at what clubs and projects are available in your area first, rather than looking up clubs by project area. Currently, leaders' contact information is not publicly displayed, so once you know a club you're interested in, give us a call at the Extension Center at 541-776-7371 and we'll connect you.
