Conferences

  • Oregon 4-H Summer Conference is an opportunity for youth grades 7-12 to travel to Corvallis, explore campus life, make new friends, learn, and have a lot of fun. While here, participants attend workshops on a wide variety of subjects.
  • National 4-H Conference is an annual event held at the National 4-H Center in Chevy Chase, Maryland.  Delegates will learn about 'youth voices' in civic engagement, practice leadership skills, be creative, do problem solving, experience teamwork, and apply presentation skills at the federal level, and better understand US history and government processes. 
  • National 4-H Congress allow 4-H members from all around the country attend National 4-H Congress in Atlanta, Georgia. Delegates hear inspirational speakers, participate in workshops, engage in large-scale community service projects, and enjoy many other fun activities.
  • Outreach Leadership Institute is a series of four overnight-weekend events that include hands-on educational workshops, activities, presentations, and discussions with college students and professional role models from different cultural backgrounds to prepare youth for college and careers.
  • Youth Voices in Action is a 4 day (3 night) statewide 4-H civic engagement conference for 8th – 12th grade youth. Modeled after National 4-H Conference, this event introduces older youth to the legislative processes at our state capitol in Salem
