Summer Conference

Build community. Find your spark. Get ready for life.

Calling all Oregon 7th-12th graders! Looking for an unforgettable summer experience? The Oregon 4-H Summer Conference is where belonging begins. Whether you're curious about your future, passionate about making friends, or ready to challenge yourself, this is your place. You'll meet youth from across the state, explore OSU's beautiful campus, and discover new ways to grow through hands-on learning.

What you'll gain:

  • A deeper sense of who you are—and who you want to become
  • Skills that build confidence, independence, and real-world readiness
  • New friendships and a strong sense of community
  • Opportunities to explore careers, college, and life after high school

Who can attend?

7th-12th graders in Oregon (you do not have to be a 4-H member to attend)

Dates:

June 24–27, 2026

Cost:

$275 Registration Fee (+additional bus fee if applicable)

Financial assistance and transportation is available. Please watch your inbox for emails from your local 4-H program coordinator for financial assistance options for you!

Registration will open on May 15, 2026 at 3:00 pm.

Workshop Tracks

This year you can expect classes related to these tracks:

  • Cybersecurity, Tech Skills and STEM
  • Mindfulness, healthy habits and consumer sciences
  • Outdoor adventure, challenge and movement
  • Crafts and hands on creativity
  • Career exploration and college readiness
  • Agriculture and animal sciences
  • Leadership and teamwork
  • Natural sciences
  • Community service

Workshops and experiences:

Workshops are on-campus adventures taught by OSU faculty and passionate 4-H volunteers.

Exact workshops and times will be available prior to registration so that you can choose-your-adventure (aka your track) or make up your own experience by defining the exact workshops that are of interest to you!

Below is everything you need to get ready to register for Summer Conference. The event schedule is the same for all participants, but you'll need to refer to the workshop schedule in order to choose your classes.

Each year, we prepare a letter for participants and chaperones with everything you need to know.

Bus Information

Final bus rates will be based on the distance you ride. You can register for a bus ride to and from Summer Conference during your idealogic registration. Exact pickup times will be sent out via email to those who register.

  • Tentative Route 1: Astoria, Hillsboro, McMinnville, Corvallis
  • Tentative Route 2: Lostine, Island City, Pendleton, Hermiston, Arlington, The Dalles, Wilsonville, Rickreall, Corvallis
  • Tentative Route 3: Ontario, Burns, Bend, Corvallis
  • Tentative Route 4: Klamath Falls, Central Point, Grants Pass, Sutherlin, Springfield, Corvallis
