Market & Breeding Possession Verification Information
All market & breeding exhibitors will be required to verify possession of their animals by adding a possession onto a google form emailed to all members. This is for each animal unless it was shown at EOLS this year and must be completed by each species/market possession date. Members with homegrown animals are required to add this to their possession entry.
Members leasing an animal will need to turn in a Livestock lease form for that animal during possession as well. For Horses. For Dogs

Q & A
- When is possession?
Possession for Beef is posted for April 10th, 11:59 p.m. Entries will be time stamped. Any uploads not received by this date will not be eligible to participate in the Union County Fair. Possession for Sheep, Goats and Swine will be May 14th and May 17th.
- How will possession be recorded?
For possession, we will be collecting photos, uploaded to a google form, like EOLS. From there, you will be contacted by the Beef Superintendent, who will come and tag your steers. This process will take place within two weeks following the possession deadline of April 10th, 11:59 p.m.

Possession: Goats, Sheep and Swine: We will be hosting a REQUIRED in-person tag in for Sheep, Goats and Swine
- Will I still have to register via ShoWorks?
Yes. You will still need to enter the appropriate market class and a showmanship class.
- Can we have a back-up?
Yes. Individuals are also allowed to tag back-ups. Shared back-ups must be declared and must be in the same immediate family.
Tag in for Sheep, Goats, and Swine: If you have a conflict, another family member can bring animals to the tag in. This will be a REQUIRED in-person tag-in:
May 14th from 4p.m.- 7 p.m.
May 17th from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.
May 18th from 6 p.m. - 8pm

All market animals (Hog, Sheep, Goat) that plan to attend UCF MUST be tagged in and recorded with the office on one of these three dates to be eligible to show. Animals not tagged at one of these dates will not be eligible to participate at UCF.
More detailed information will be emailed all to all registered Union Co. 4-H members.

Online entries can be made between June 1 and July 1. They will close on July 1st this year to better prepare for fair that starts with horse classes on July 17th!

Online Entry instructions:
Entries can be made by exhibitors or club leaders using the exhibitor login:
Log in as an exhibitor (choose “I am a new exhibitor” or "I have previously registered" if you participated in EOLS).
- "Register" - Make your password and add your mailing address (where you want your market check mailed to) and personal information. You must complete all required fields.
- “Entries” and add all your class entries. Then click “Continue”
- "Items" - Click continue through your entry fee
- "Review" your Cart (if you are interrupted make sure and save your cart) At this point you can add to or delete your entries
- "Pay" -Then “Check-out” to get to the pay screen
- "Confirm" your entries, type “YES” then submit your entries
- "Finish" - If you are doing market classes upload your documents
- When entries are completed, a receipt will be emailed to you or you can print it.
Jr Market Auction Information
The Union County Fair Jr Market Auction is August 2nd starting at 3:30 pm with a buyers BBQ. The sale will start at 5:15 pm. Come down and support the 4-H & FFA members and fill your freezer with some good quality meat.

Add ons will be taken for one week after the completion of the auction.
All market animal exhibitors are required to turn in the required species weigh in packet by the designated deadline or at weigh in.
