OSU hired its first youth CTE, trades and workforce development specialist to connect Extension’s youth programs with statewide job training and workforce resources.
The workshops rotate among three local forges, led by professional blacksmiths, and provide an experiential learning opportunity to use both modern propane forges and traditional coal-powered forges.
