Insect pests affect a variety of field crop production systems including: potatoes, grass seed, wheat and small grains, and legumes. This collection highlights Extension resources that may be useful for integrated pest management (IPM) in these crops.

The irrigated agricultural entomology program located at the Hermiston Agricultural Research & Extension Center (HAREC) develops and implements crop protection practices for irrigated crops in eastern Oregon, including potatoes, onions, corn, wheat, etc. More information is available at the Irrigated Agricultural Entomology Program website.

The Central Oregon Agricultural Research & Extension Center (COARC) has an extensive program dedicated to the production of seed potatoes.
