An analysis of the trainings indicates that participants increased their confidence in assisting a person experiencing a mental health or a challenge related to a substance abuse disorder.
More than 100,000 thousand copies – 80,000 in English and 25,000 in Spanish were produced for distribution through OSU Extension offices and Oregon Department of Human Services field offices across the state.

OSU Extension Master Gardeners have planted two small silverspot butterfly beds at the Master Gardener demonstration gardens in Lincoln City and Yachats to draw the silverspot to a friendly place for food and shelter.
Landowners needed help learning about reforestation and getting the resources they needed, and there was a critical need for tree seedlings to replace the trees lost to the fires, especially for private landowners who have less access to large-scale nurseries.
