Biography
Kayla spent her early career serving in the federal government with the Department of Justice, first as an administrative assistant for the U.S. Attorney’s Office and later as an investigative analyst for the Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF). More recently, Kayla served as a safety and compliance manager specializing in mining and heavy equipment. One of the main focuses in that role was to help foster a minimal impact on the environment. Additional work experience highlights include administrative management and support, civil and criminal law, and investigative work.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Management and Organizational Leadership, graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors from George Fox University and an associate’s degree in criminal justice from Rogue Community College.
