Juntos en el Jardin has rejuvenated existing community gardening locations in and around Lincoln City and created spaces that expand access to growing food to Latino and Mesoamerican Indigenous families in Lincoln County that generally have less access to land for growing their own food.
Provides information to help growers in western Oregon control slugs in their fields. Topics include slug host plants and damage, life cycle and biology, how to scout for slugs in the field, a technique to estimate the extent of a field's plant damage, and slug pest management.

As a result of this work, 110 applications to the program came in from August through December 2021. Sixty projects were completed with payments totaling $300,000 for replacements, repairs and reimbursements for septic and well systems.
