Inez Award

The Inez Award was created in honor of Inez Faye (Bondurant) Griffels, who passed away unexpectedly in early January 2021. Inez was a very loving and caring person with a laugh that was infectious. She touched many lives, was always energetic, and full of life.

Inez was passionate about inspiring youth and families to fully participate in everything that the Washington County 4-H Horse Program had to offer. Through the Washington County 4-H Program, Inez inspired hundreds of 4-H youth to achieve their personal best.

The Inez Award was designed to recognize equally passionate 4-H youth who have Inez’s same excitement for participation in the Washington County 4-H Horse Program. Applicants recognize the importance of participating in the 4-H Horse Program and can reflect on how being in 4-H has had a positive impact on their lives.
