Washington County 4-H

We ask that all youth and volunteer enrollment forms be completed and returned to the Washington County Extension Office as soon as possible.  In order to participate at the 2021 Washington County Fair all members and leaders must be enrolled by April 1, 2021.  You can find additional information regarding the enrollment process on this website under "Get Involved".

Washington County 4-H is moving forward with planning an in-person, physically distant fair during the month of July.  It is likely that this fair will also include virtual components.  A final decision about what this fair will look like will be made on May 5 at Washington County Fair Board meeting.  We have been meeting regularly with our fair superintendents and the Washington County Fair management to plan this year's fair.

OSU Extension is working on ideas for showcasing the great work of Washington County 4-H youth and their 4-H projects. Washington County 4-H is a positive youth development organization. Our highest priority is to help our kids grow and thrive, especially during times of uncertainty.

Thank you to all the Washington County 4-H members that joined us in the 2020 Washington County 4-H sign project and the Virtual 2020 Showcase.

We provided 4-H members with an 18”x24” outdoor yard sign to decorate for display at the Fairgrounds during the original 2020 Fair dates (July 24 – August 2).  The Washington County 4-H Staff installed the signs on July 24 on the Southwest corner of the fairgrounds.  The signs were displayed for ten days and now are available to pick up from the Washington County Extension Office.  We are hoping you take home your sign and display it.
