Youth Leadership Opportunities

4-H youth in Washington County participate in many different leadership roles like as club officers, ambassadors, camp counselors, teen teachers, and more! Learn more about our offerings below:

Washington County 4-H Ambassadors

Washington County 4-H Ambassadors are a group of high school-aged youth who assist in promoting 4-H through hands-on community service learning opportunities.

Ambassadors are gain leadership skills by:

  • planning and facilitating county wide 4-H programs
  • advocating for fundraisers and projects that benefits 4-H clubs
  • attending state-wide leadership retreats
