Rabbit Resources
There are three active 4-H rabbit clubs in Washington County. These 4-H clubs focus on husbandry and showmanship as well as raising market and breeding animals. Meeting locations and date vary so please email [email protected] for more information.

- This printed resource is a comprehensive guide for 4-H youth to learn about different health, care, handling, and well-being topics on rabbits. The guide has been recently updated and costs a printing and shipping fee.

- This youtube video was created by a 4-H alum in Washington County for their middle school capstone project. Emma clearly demonstrates how to handle your rabbit while performing a comprehensive health check.

- This Pacific Northwest publication is a comprehensive resource on different diseases that can affect rabbits including viral and bacterial infections as well as nutritional deficiencies.
- Your Rabbit: A Kid's Guide to Raising and Showing
- Check your local library or bookstore for this book. Written by a former Extension agent, this book is geared towards teaching young people how to take care of their rabbit.
