Umatilla County Master Gardener Association

The UCMGA meets at the Pendleton Extension Office (Umatilla Hall of BMCC campus – 2411 NW Carden Ave., Pendleton, OR 97801) on the second Monday of the month. Meetings consist of a potluck dinner at 5:30 p.m., followed by their business or education meeting at 6 p.m. Meetings are not held every month and are subject to cancellation or change of location, so please contact the Extension to confirm before planning to attend, or email program coordinator Amanda Woodlee at [email protected].

Guide to Being a Master Gardener Volunteer: This guide is for current OSU Extension Master Gardener volunteers. It explains Oregon State University policies and OSU Master Gardener program guidelines related to volunteering. Your county program coordinator will have more information on how these guidelines are used in your county program.
Master Gardener Code of Conduct: The Master Gardener Code of Conduct describes the expectations of Extension Master Gardener trainees and volunteers. It must be signed and filed, before an individual can begin volunteering with the OSU Extension Master Gardener Program.
Online Volunteer Reporting System (VRS): Most Master Gardener volunteers use the VRS system for reporting their volunteer hours. For volunteers in the Portland Metro region, please contact your local MG coordinator for reporting your hours.

Local OSU staff and trained OSU Master Gardener volunteers serve as an outlet for all of your gardening questions. You can call or visit our office(s) and we will assist you in identifying your weed, disease, and insect problems and suggest research-based management for these issues.
