The Seeds of Spring is an annual home gardening conference, features approximately twenty Gardening related classes presented by top experts from the Northwest.
Seed to Supper Program
The Oregon State University Extension Service Master Gardener ™ Program, in partnership with the Oregon Food Bank, is proud to offer Seed to Supper in Josephine County. Seed to Supper is a free, comprehensive beginning gardening course that gives novice, adult gardeners the tools and confidence they need to successfully grow a portion of their own food on a limited budget.
Participants learn about building healthy soil; planning, planting, and caring for their garden; and harvesting and using their bounty.
Sustainable Gardening Speaker Series
The Sustainable Gardening Speaker Series provides free one-hour seminars on gardening-related topics. The seminars are usually offered on the second Saturday of the month from 1-2:30 pm at the OSU Extension Auditorium.
