You are cordially invited to delve into the topic of Fine Fuels Management on Public Lands. The event will highlight the concerted efforts by various entities committed to preserving our natural resources.

The Vale District BLM, Oregon State University, and Malheur County cow-calf operators have pioneered the implementation of late-fall and winter grazing on public lands. The goal? To mitigate wildfire risk and enhance rangeland conditions. This is your chance to learn about these strategic efforts and how they are shaping the future of our public lands.

But that’s not all! We’re also building relationships with Northern Spain, a region that, like us, faces the challenge of catastrophic wildfires. Discover how international relationships are being forged to combat this global issue.

Our speakers include dedicated individuals from various fields: OSU field faculty, the President of the Oregon Cattlemen’s Association, Malheur County Cow-Calf Operators, Vale District BLM, and even Professors from Spain. Each one is committed to mitigating wildfire risk within the Vale BLM District.

So, come join us! Be a part of this global effort right here at home. Together, we can make a difference
