Learn about rainwater harvesting for your home or outbuilding, including placement, uses, materials, and project examples. Participants will leave with a better understanding of implementing rainwater harvest as a tool to conserve water and accomplish their irrigation priorities.

Instructor Biography

Kora Mousseaux is the Community Water Resource Conservationist at Jackson Soil & Water Conservation District. Now in her eighth year in the District, she provides technical and financial assistance to landowners in Jackson County to implement stewardship projects that protect and conserve water and other natural resources. Kora has a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from Southern Oregon University and has lived in the Rogue Valley for 24 years.

This class is part of The Sustainable Living Series presented by SOREC Land Steward and Master Gardener Programs, and the Jackson Soil & Water Conservation District.
