Is Wild Garlic too Wild to Eat?

Hi there, We have lots of what I think is Wild Garlic growing in our yard. It is tall, thin, green and smells strongly of garlic. It also has a small papery bulb. I did some research online and I found that it is considered a weed in Oregon, but is it also edible? Thanks! Julia
