Christmas tree experimenting: what’s new and what stays the same after 40 years

This class will look at current events impacting Christmas tree growers, such as the June heat dome and summer drought. Next we will take a bit of a walk-through time and review some of the results from research trials conducted over the past 40 years. This will include species selections and tree improvement, long-term site productivity, nutrient management, and leader control. We will also review where growers can find information to help them succeed.
